Nortel, Siemens, Ericsson GSM and UMTS Technical Support (2461) 8 Months Contract in Redmond, WA 98052 Local candidates and permanent residents only eligible for this role Qualifications :- 1) Remedy Entry Level Required 2) UNIX Entry Level Required 3) 2 yr wireless technology & troubleshooting Intermediate Required 4) Nortel, Siemens, Ericsson GSM and UMTS technologie Intermediate Required Responsibilities :- Responsible for the 24 X 7 surveillance, analysis, and maintenance of the AT&T Mobility cellular network; including remote triage, prioritization, remote restoral, and ticket management on specified alarms for Ericsson, Nortel, and Siemens GSM/UMTS technologies. The MNRC is also responsible for providing technical support and direction for Network Operations personnel. The MNRC Analysis Team is responsible for cellular service providing equipment such as cell sites, switches (to include: BSC’s, RNC’s, MSC’s and MTSO’s). The MNRC Technician will work closely with company proprietary fault management tools (such as NetCool) to ensure network reliability and quality. The technician will manage assigned markets based on vendor specialization where they will utilize NetCool to monitor network element alarms. Upon receipt of any alert, the technician will provide due fault analysis, trouble isolation/management, outage reporting, notification, and escalation as needed.
